The NavHyS project will participate in EU Hydrogen Week 2026, where it will be presented at the ERIG Meeting Point (Hall 7, Booth F23) at Brussels Expo from 26 to 28 October 2026.
NavHyS is developing an innovative liquid hydrogen (LH₂) storage and fuel system concept for future zero-emission vessels. The project addresses one of the key challenges facing the maritime sector: enabling the safe, efficient, and economically viable use of hydrogen as a fuel for long-distance shipping and offshore operations. NavHyS focuses on the design of advanced onboard LH₂ storage systems, fuel distribution infrastructure, bunkering solutions, and safety concepts to support the decarbonisation of maritime transport.
