Fraser Bennie is a mechanical engineer with 29 years of experience working with cryogenic liquids and fuels for maritime applications. He currently works as Marine Business Development Manager at ARTA GmbH, focusing on LNG, liquid hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol transfer systems. In parallel, he serves as team leader for โliquefier-to-shipโ LH2 logistics for a European shipowner, with responsibilities in the field of port approvals and safety.
Mr. Bennieโs expertise includes the definition of cryogenic transfer fuel systems, vacuum-insulated tanks and fuel gas systems, and the commissioning, troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance of LNG carrier gas handling systems, including onboard reliquefaction. Moreover, he has spent the past 7 years working on liquid hydrogen activities, leading LH2 business development initiatives towards container and cruise ship owners and operators

Ivan รstvik

Ivan รstvik is a naval architect and maritime entrepreneur with more than 3 decades of experience in industrial energy transitions and risk-based ship design. With an MSc in Naval Architecture and a PhD in risk-based design, his work bridges engineering rigor, regulatory innovation, and commercialisation of next-generation energy systems.
รstvik is a pioneer in the industrialision of liquid hydrogen as a scalable marine fuel. He led the end-to-end realisation of the worldโs first liquid-hydrogen-powered ferry, MF Hydra, for Norled, establishing new technical, safety, and certification frameworks for cryogenic hydrogen propulsion in commercial service. As Founder and CEO of LH2 Shipping AS, he is now focused on scaling liquid hydrogen solutions through the development of standardised LHโ-fuelled vessels and the build-out of fuel supply chains, including production interfaces and port bunkering systems. The ambition is industrial deployment, linking ship design, energy infrastructure, and regulatory pathways into bankable, scaled zero-emission solutions for Northern Europe and beyond.
